Scam Alerts:
1) Text on cell phone displaying American National Bank of Texas notification. Call 813-862-0448 to hear and claim a $25 Fidelity Bonus.
2) Email message: We are very sorry to inform you that during recent investigations, we have discovered that your bank account contains invalid or erroneous information. Due to this error, several limitations have been applied. Until the problem is solved your account will remain inactive, meaning you cannot withdraw nor make any deposits. Because American National Bank always strives to satisfy it's customers, maintains the best services on the market and provides quality financial products, we need you to spare two minutes of your time and download and open the attached form we have sent to you, in order to correct these minor mistakes and reactivate your account immediately.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE FORM - THIS EMAIL WAS NOT SENT FROM AMERICAN NATIONAL BANK.
3) If you received the following text message on your cell phone from an unknown source: "American National Bank Alert: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact 817-886-8996 to REACTIVATE your card".
4) If you receive a text message from First Class American 719@momall.net asking you to call 877-250-6584. If you call the number and follow the prompts you will be ask to enter your debit card number.
5) Customers are being contacted by an 800 number claiming that are with American Bank and will be ask to enter in their last four digits of their debit card number and social security number. This is not First Data or anyone with American Bank. The 800 number that customers are getting is 800-830-8574.
