What Information We Collect We may collect “nonpublic personal information” about you from the following sources:
“Nonpublic personal information” includes information regarding your account balance, payment history, and overdraft history. In addition, it may include your Social Security number, date of birth, and financial and credit information, and any information we obtain from or about you in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. It does not include information that is publicly available from such sources as government public records and telephone directories. What Information We Disclose We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted or required by law. We may share information with such third parties to assist us in processing and servicing your account and to offer products and services that may be of interest to you. Confidentiality and Security of Your Information We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information. American National Bank always has and will continue to recognize the need to ensure the integrity, security and confidentiality of customer information. We will not share any nonpublic personal customer information with any nonaffiliated third parties, except as expressly permitted or required by law.
IMPORTANT: To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means to you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We will also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents. |
